To many, a meal isn't a meal, a movie isn't a movie, leisure isn't leisure without... the luscious comfort of Brunch and the refreshing taste of Diet Coke. The collaboration came together to celebrate the kinds of everyday moments that feel quietly indulgent—like lounging in hotel slippers and sipping a crisp Diet Coke. To celebrate the effortlessly iconic Diet Coke, we went back to where it all started.
The campaign reimagined Diet Coke’s very first commercial—launched at Radio City Music Hall in 1983—through Brunch’s lens of laid-back luxury. Shot in a moody theater, the campaign captured the magic of cracking open a Diet Coke with one hand and popcorn in the other. Through a short film and a series of editorial images, we brought back the glamour, elegance, and simplicity that made Diet Coke a cultural icon—told in Brunch’s language of leisure and ease.
The launch sold out in under an hour, with over 50 million social impressions and 70+ pieces of organic UGC. A-list celebrities and NYC tastemakers alike tried to get their hands on the product—cementing the collaboration as a true iconic cultural moment.
My Roles:
-
Led the 360 marketing rollout for the Diet Coke collaboration—aligning storytelling across campaign creative, gift packaging, and event experience. Managed timelines, calendars, and approvals, ensuring concept alignment, budget visibility, and an on-schedule launch.
-
Oversaw production and supported art direction for the campaign shoot—securing The Roxy Theater in NYC at low cost, coordinating cast and crew, and ensuring creative execution stayed on budget while capturing the energy and elegance of the concept.
