It started with a small realization, and too much time on my hands during the early days of the pandemic. I began noticing comfort wear showing up in places it hadn’t before. My dad, who had worn a suit to work every day of my life, was now sitting at his desk in jeans - then loungewear. It wasn’t just about clothes anymore, it was people dressing in a way that makes them feel their best physically and mentally.

I launched BeComfy as a brand built around that learning. I taught myself design, sourcing, and product development - building everything from the ground up through Shopify, overseas partners, and a lot of trial and error. I developed the brand identity from the ground up - shaping the voice, visuals, and tone to reflect a lifestyle built around being comfortable with yourself (and of course having fun).

Through content and gifting, I grew a small but loyal community around this refreshed idea of comfort. The experience made me fall in love with branding, marketing, and the strategy behind building something that makes people feel better in their everyday lives.
